The main disadvantage of this lamp is that if the lamp is damaged, dangerous mercury and other impurities are released into the air.
In recent years, increasingly began to introduce into the masses of LED lighting lamps, they lacked the minuses of the above lighting lamps. LEDs or luminaires (in use - "ice", from the abbreviation LED, Light Emitting Diode) are used as a light source, this type of luminaires are used for industrial, household and street lighting. The principle of glowing LEDs in an LED lamp makes it possible to use in production and the operation of the lamp itself is safe components. LED lamps do not contain mercury-containing substances, in contrast to energy-saving lamps and fluorescent lamps, so they are one of the most environmentally friendly light sources.
The advantages of this lamp can be listed for a long time: safe, long service life, energy saving, light quality, etc.
The totality of all the advantages of this lamp, completely outstrips all other types of lamps. The task for the introduction of this type of lamp is precisely the TeraWatt project, which intends to unite lamps, manufacturers, as well as all institutions, HOAs and so on, into one system of users. This platform will play the role of a link between all links, which in turn will encourage each link in the chain, a specially created domestic currency called "LED". LED tokens will serve as a reward for the purchase of LED lamps, thereby will have some incentive to purchase more lamps. And over time, many institutions, homes and offices will use LED lamps, thereby conserving electricity and nature.
